Mulcahy’s Pub & Concert Hall located in Wantagh, NY. This venue hosts local cover artists, like Big Shot, who sings Billy Joel cover songs and which is one of Mulcahy’s most popular shows of the year. Another popular band is Us and Floyd, who play Pink Floyd cover songs and are considered to be the best Pink Floyd Tribute band in New York.
K.J Farrell’s Bar and Grill located in Bellmore, NY. If you are looking for live music, karaoke nights and open mic nights, then K.J Farrell’s is the place to be. K.J. Farrell’s hosts bands like Wonderous Stories, who have become one of Long Island’s best-drawing bands. So what about them makes them so popular? You’re probably wondering what type of music they play. Well that’s the thing, they are spontaneous and you never know what cover songs they might play. You could say they are a “breath of fresh air.” What’s more…K.J.’s is right down the block from Euphoria! So, make sure you come on by before your night out and pick up some vaping supplies!
The Paramount located in Huntington, NY. This venue hosts all types of live events, from boxing to comedy and concerts. They have approximately 200 events every year, so there is always something going on for people to go see and enjoy. It first opened in 2011, making it a fairly new venue for people on Long Island to be able to visit. They offer a food menu for events so that guests can enjoy a bite to eat before or during the show and have everything available to them in one place. You can get to this venue by driving or taking the train to Huntington Station and taking a 5 minute cab ride. It is both a standing and seating venue.
The Space at Westbury located in Westbury, NY. This venue was transformed back in the 1970’s from a movie theater into what it is today -- a contemporary entertainment venue. Although The Space at Westbury was built on an old movie theater, it is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. You can book a private event or attend a show.
The NYCB Theatre at Westbury located in Westbury, NY. Taking a different approach to concert venues, the NYCB Theatre has a 360 degree rotating stage that makes artists visible from any seat and angle. The Theatre provides a more intimate setting for fans to be able to interact and be close to their favorite artists. Aside from the view, concert goers can relax in the Theatre's on-site lounge, which can be accessed by purchasing a ticket to an event held there. The NYCB Theatre is something you need to experience yourself, to see how intimate the concerts held there are and how different it is from other venues.
Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre located in Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, NY. If you are looking to go to a concert with a beautiful view of Long Island, then make sure you go to Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre. This venue is right on the water, with the back of the stage surrounded by a beautiful ocean view. It is something you have to see for yourself, pictures don’t do it justice, especially if you are there at night. The concert venue has 15,000 seats and usually holds concerts during the summer and warmer weather.
Great South Bay Music Festival located in Patchogue, NY. Although this festival happens only during the month of July, it is sure to be fun and entertaining. The festival’s 2016 dates are already set for July 14th -17th and it hosts a variety of big-name artists, such as last year’s Christina Perry and Colbie Caillat. The site also provides a list of the artists performing and what time they go on stage so that you don’t miss out on an artist you particularly like. The festival takes place in Shorefront Park and it’s set up outdoors with several stages.
